If you've been attending church for a while and starting to feel restless, consider stepping out into unfamiliar territory. Perhaps God is calling you to greater commitment, volunteering, or a leadership role. Here are some options.

Joining the Church

There is a membership class every year. If you are ready to settle down at Cherry Grove, sign up for the next class and make it official. Email or send us a message for more details.

Baptism

Baptism is the next step after accepting Christ. It is an outward manifestation of an inward decision. It is confirmation of your decision to follow God. We have a baptismal service every summer.

Volunteering

Ministry comes in all forms and there is something for everyone. Let's look at some possibilities. We need more small groups: for retirees, for parents of young children, and new Christians. Sunday School teachers and helpers are always needed. KidsGrove leaders and helpers. Nursery volunteers. If we have enough volunteers, we can rotate workers. Could you work in the nursery one day every three months? Other ministries in the church include music ministry, media communications, event dinners, note care, greeters, visitation.
